✨ A simple 2025 reflection tool
Take 45 minutes to remember where you started.
Hey there.
Hope you’re having a nice holiday season. I’m writing this from a layover at the Nashville airport, and by the time you’re reading it, I’ll probably be baking/eating cookies, melting into my parents’ couch, or drinking an ice cold martini. Maybe, if I’m lucky, it will be all three at once! 🍪🛋🍸
Here’s a simple reflection template that I used last year, and guided folks through in a few workshops. I think it’s fun, simple and a great way to root yourself in what 2025 looked like so you’re not just running in 2026 without a little healthy reflection. Enjoy and good luck!
First…
Grab a blank sheet of paper and divide it into 12 squares, one for each month of the year. From there, set a timer for 15 minutes and brain dump all the events, memories, feelings, projects, etc. from each month. You can also grab the template to print or do it digitally here.
Then…
Set a timer for ~30 minutes and work through these prompts.
My intention for 2025 was…
This is how it went: (Name what you set out to do, what you accomplished, and even what you didn’t.)
The feelings that were most present for me this year were…
This year, I felt the most aligned when…
3-2-1, yearly edition:
3 things I’m grateful for…
2 things I’m proud of…
1 thing I want to do differently…
At the end of 2025, I’m releasing and leaving behind…
5 things I want to remember from this year are…
People, experiences, memories, lessons, etc.
If 2025 was a chapter in my book, the title would be…
I’ll be back with some 2026 planning tools in the new year, as well as some updates on ümlauts and my future workshops. Excited to share with you all and thank you for being a part of my community this year. It’s been really lovely to connect with you through my writing, events, and even a real pen pal!
Lots of love,
Zoë
